Christopher C. Carpenter, O.D.
Dr. Carpenter is a Chandler native. He attended elementary school in Chandler and graduated from Gilbert High School after his family moved to Gilbert. Dr. Carpenter attended Brigham Young University on an academic scholarship and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California where he graduated in 2000 with honors. Upon graduation he joined the practice of D. Lynn Jones, O.D. who had been practicing in Chandler since 1970. Together they formed Chandler Eyecare L.L.C. and continued to offer friendly, state-of-the-art eyecare to residents of Chandler and neighboring communities.
Dr. Carpenter, his wife Amy, and their five lively children live in Queen Creek. In an effort to have a second office closer to home, and to serve the needs of the rapidly growing southeast valley, Drs. Carpenter and Williams opened Seville Eye Center in 2006. Dr. Carpenter enjoys providing comprehensive eyecare to patients of all ages, and particularly enjoys working with children, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses. He loves to spend time with his family and enjoys wakeboarding, serving in his church, sports, and music. |
T. Lance Williams, O.D.
Dr. Lance Williams grew up in Gilbert and Mesa, as the oldest of six children. After attending Gilbert High School and Arizona State University, he graduated with distinction from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association for over ten years. In October 2002, he achieved the longtime goal of starting his "hometown" practice when Gilbert Family Eyecare opened its doors, and in 2006 became a co-founder of Seville Eye Center.
Besides finding fulfillment in working with his patients, Dr. Williams enjoys music (singing), football and most other sports (watching more than playing these days!), riding ATVs, browsing itunes, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Deanne, a Mesa native, have been married fifteen years and have four "blondies" at home: Lauren, Devin, Dallin, and London. |
Robert B. Giles, O.D.
Dr. Giles grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. Occassionally you may even hear him say y'all. His wife, Stacey, is a Tempe native and brought him west to enjoy the Arizona sunsets. Dr. Giles attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2000. After practicing optometry in the Huntsville, Alabama area until 2003, Dr. Giles joined the U.S. Air Force to serve his country. He has performed eye examination in many austere locations such as in the mountains of Honduras, in Costa Rica, and within the Arctic Circle in Alaska. It was an honor for him to have served his country.
Dr. Giles moved to Gilbert with his wife and four children in the fall of 2010.He is still fascinated with the intricacies of the eye and helping people to "see". He enjoys the outdoors in general and loves to run. He is also fluent in speaking Spanish and is happy to give eye examinations in Spanish if desired. |
Jennifer Keiser, O.D.
Dr. Jennifer Keiser was born in Salt Lake City, UT into a family of 7 children. It was fun growing up in such a large family and even more fun now with all her nieces and nephews! After graduating from Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah, she attended Snow College thinking she wanted to do something in engineering – which changed shortly after her first semester! After graduating with her Associates Degree, she went to work not having decided what she wanted to do “when she grew up”. She worked in various industries, including healthcare, and after a major turning point in her life, went back to school. Dr. Keiser attended the University of Utah to complete the prerequisite courses needed for optometry school, and then finished her Bachelors Degree and Optometry Degree simultaneously at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Immediately thereafter, she moved to St. Louis, MO to complete her residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. In October of 2012, she earned her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Keiser loves working with patients of all ages, but she admits that working with the “kiddos” are her favorite! Dr. Keiser is married to her sweetheart, German, and is now trying to learn Spanish. She’s grateful and excited to be a part of your eye care team!
